Local Treasures
In our years of serving this community we have come across quite a few truly unique, rare and quite valuable items. We have started this list for a few reasons.
First and foremost to stress our first rule of estate sales
"do not throw anything away"
some of the items shown were actually in piles the owners were sure no one would want and they were ready to be either donated or worse yet, possibly thrown away!
Second, to show that yes even here, there are treasures. A very common comment we hear goes something like, "Oh this is _____ (fill in the blank with the name of your community) and no one here has anything really great"
And lastly, though definitely not the least important would be to show that when we do come across these treasures, our integrity, honesty and need to sleep peacefully at night requires us to tell the owner and take the steps we are familiar with to get them the very best possible price for their items.
Please note that as we are just now starting this list, it does not go back nearly as far as we do (I am not sure if we actually had cameras way back then!) and it will continue to grow
